FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for measurement of flow rate and volume of optically clear liquids and gases in various testing beds and technological installations. Flowmeter includes hydraulic channel with optical windows made up of straightening vane, prechamber, contraction former, diffuser duct placed in sequence and of optically coupled source of coherent radiation, transmitting optical system, photodetector optical system which output is connected to input of electron unit. Inlet diameter of diffuser is equal to outlet diameter of contraction. EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy thanks to reduced effect of parameters of hydraulic channel. 1 dwg
