FIELD: connection of carbon electrodes. SUBSTANCE: threaded joint carbon socket is designed for connection of pair of opposite electrode sections each of which has corresponding opposite thread sockets, and is equipped with longitudinal piece of base, joint threads which are split by step on said piece of base and extend from it outside and are designed as integral whole with it for forming threaded joint with thread recesses in electrode section. Piece of base in region adjacent to joint thread steps carries wearable comb which is designed as whole with it. Comb extends outside from part of base but with lower extension possibility than said joint threads which are split by spaces. Treaded joint carbon socket is designed for complete wear of comb to flat surface due to its connection to section of electrode which rests on threaded socket tops which have flat surface and are split by grooves of said socket of electrode section.
