FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns electrode connections. An electrode connection contains two joined graphite electrodes and a seal between electrodes. The seal is made of material which contains compacted particles of the graphite laminate characterised by reduction in oxidation rate of electrode connection surfaces.
EFFECT: invention improves reliability of the electrode connection.
