SUBSTANCE: flat elastic abrasive tool is mounted on shaft of grinding machine having no parts protruding relative to working surface of abrasive tool for providing possibility of working material by the whole working surface of tool in order to satisfy high demands to surface roughness degree. Apparatus for mounting abrasive tool on shaft of grinding machine includes two clamping members between which grinding tool is placed. One member is secured to shaft of grinding machine. Apparatus also includes means for creating clamping effort between abrasive tool and clamping members and flexible support dents to be flush-mounted in support sites of abrasive tool. Clamping members may have openings for air passing. Means for creating clamping effort may be in the form of wedge-shaped opening. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 19 dwg
