FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: procedure is designed for maintaining initial grinding speed with wear of grinding disk. A processed blank is imparted with rotation, while the disk is imparted with rotation and cross and lengthwise feed. With decreasing diametre the grinding disk is imparted with additional rotating motion. For this purpose the grinding disk is fixed on a stationary flange by means of bolts and a movable flange; the stationary disk is arranged on periphery as one piece with a rotating rotor. A twisted magnetic conductor is set on an end of the rotating rotor. Secondary short circuit winding is laid in slots of the magnetic conductor. The said rotor enters into structure of the end asynchronous engine with a stator of a twisted magnetic conductor on the end, in slots of which there is laid primary winding. The rotating movable rotor is mounted on a support cartridge by means of thrust bearings with a gap between ends of magnetic conductors; the support cartridge is pressed into the central orifice of the stator.
EFFECT: upgraded quality of machining and reduced wear of grinding disk due to maintaining initial grinding speed with wear of disk.
