FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device fastens flexible flat abrasive tool, thus enabling its natural wear to minimum permissible diameter and over operating surface completely. Device has upper and lower hold-down members for abrasive tool arrangement between them. Upper hold-down member consists of set of changeable flexible discs, different in diameter, intended for changing supporting surface area and flexibility value. Set of flexible discs of upper hold- down member may ensure gradual wear of abrasive wheels of all standard sizes beginning with diameter of 225 mm to minimum permissible diameter of 70 mm along operating surface.
