FIELD: oil and gas production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sludges accumulated in various-destination tanks. Tank cleaning and hydrocarbon components' reuse operations are conducted simultaneously with variation of heat, hydrodynamic, and mass-exchange operational conditions in tank while continuously pumping in crude oil, its temperature being higher than temperature of crude oil usually received under standard operational conditions. At the same time, crude oil is withdrawn from tank with such a rate as to provide increased tar-paraffin flocculi forming deposits but not exceed rate of sedimentation of solid particles and water globules also being included in deposits. EFFECT: facilitated sludge purification. 1 dwg
