PLANT FOR TRAPPING OF HYDROCARBON VAPORS Russian patent published in 2000 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas producing industry, particularly, plants for trapping of hydrocarbon vapors of oil and its products from tanks and low-pressure apparatuses. SUBSTANCE: plant has a group of field tanks; a group of process tanks; gas-equalizing system; supply gas pipeline carrying transducer-analyzer; scrubber; gas pipeline; manifold with unit of connected in parallel compressors of starting, medium and maximum permissible pressures in tanks with gas meters installed on compressor outlet pipes; pressure gas pipeline; system of control and measuring instruments and automatics which connects pressure pickups. Each compressor has bypass line with valve, current frequency converter, gas pipeline for supply of replenishing gas with valve, pressure pickups, independent replenishing gas pipelines, liquid level gages connected with regulating valves. Scrubber is provided with regulator of liquid limit levels connected with valve located on pipeline for withdrawal of liquid from scrubber. Installed on pipeline is condensate meter. EFFECT: reduced power consumption by 40-50%, excluded high starting currents and 55 000 start-stop cycles per year, reduced volume of repair work and number of servicing personnel. 1 dwg
