FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this arrangement is intended for protection of coastal structures and coastal line of sloping type from action of waves at side of open water area at sharp deviation of its water level. Coastal protective arrangement incorporates reinforced concrete slabs placed in the form of chains along slope and connected to each other in chains by means of pivoted joints. Heading slabs in chains are connected to stationary supports installed in coast. Made in bottom surface of slabs in their ends which are most distant from stationary support are teeth which are embedded in ground of slope. Each slab in case of scouring of ground under its bottom lowers down under its own mass while turning around axis of its pivoted joint, thus protecting ground from further scouring. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 1 dwg
