FIELD: hydrotechnical construction. SUBSTANCE: bank-protecting facility includes ground filling dam and counter backwash cut-off walls located near foot of protecting dam. Counter backwash cut-off walls are made of quarry stone-concrete blocks linked with the aid of joints. Relieving walls are located between their root parts. Relieving walls of stepped shape are made of masonry and include two or more stages reinforced by anchors and web systems. EFFECT: reduced labor input to construction of facility in comparison with other known bank-protecting facilities, contribution to restoration of zones with planted trees and shrubs along river beds. 5 dwg
