FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves tilling soil; providing wide-row drilling by forming compacted soil bed; compacting soil by means of rollers; performing inter-row care and irrigation. In autumn soil is tilled with turning of soil layer and at presowing period in spring deep nonmoldboard mellowing is performed. Leveling and covering of upper soil layer is combined with sowing. During irrigation, high irrigation rates are provided in alternation with low irrigation rates. Low-rate irrigation is conducted by fine-dispersion method at irrigation rate of 200-250 l/hectare for 0.5-2.0 hours at air temperature above +25 C and wind speed exceeding 5 m/s. Method allows stable grain corn yields and whole kernel corn cobs to be obtained. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of corn. 8 dwg, 7 tbl
