FIELD: rolled stock production, namely multistrand rolling processes. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes two manipulators arranged at outer sides of transporting means in the form of two roller tables. Manipulators have liners, tie rods, toothed racks and different-diameter gear wheels. Diameter of large gear wheel is equal to dб= dм(1+2в/Qм•tg(α/2)),, where dm - diameter of small gear wheel, Qm - distance between axes of transporting roller tables in plane of arrangement of small gear wheels, B - distance between large and small gear wheels, α - - angle between roller tables. At rotating gear wheels, liner performs translation and simultaneously rotates due to its articulation joint in order to transfer rolled stock. EFFECT: enlarged manufacturing possibilities due to mechanized transfer of rolled stock from one roller table to another, enhanced efficiency due to reduced idle periods. 4 dwg
