DEEP WELL PLUNGER-TYPE PUMPING UNIT Russian patent published in 1998 - IPC

FIELD: oil production industry. SUBSTANCE: deep well pumping unit is intended for recovering oil by using plunger-type pumps. Pumping unit has plunger-type pump, ground surface drive setup with drums, intermediate member installed between plunger of pump and drums of drive setup. Compensator has cylindrical body, at least one gear-wheel with its teeth engaged with two toothed racks. One of toothed racks can be fastened in body stationary or both toothed racks can be made movable in body. Body can consist of two parts. Toothed rack can be made in part of internal surface of each half of body. Gear-wheels are kept in mesh simultaneously with toothed racks made in internal surface of strip-like core which is installed on axis of body with possibility of displacing along axis of pump plunger. External bands of flights are secured on movable toothed rack. Axles of spur gear-wheels are connected with pump plunger. Internal bands of flights at single movable rack are connected with body, and at two movable racks internal bands of flights are connected with second movable toothed rack. Aforesaid embodiment of deep well plunger-type pumping unit substantially prolongs service life of flexible pulling member and consequently of entire pumping unit.
