SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology of synthetic organic compounds, in part, the microbiological destruction of 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxy-acetic acid (2,4,5-T). 2,4,5-T - an ecologically dangerous compound exhibiting toxic and carcinogenic properties. Invention proposes a new strain Gluconobacter oxydans that is able to utilize 2,4,5-trichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4,5-T). Strain obtained by selection method shows the broad temperature range, pH from 7-8 and able to carry out a microbiological degradation of 2,4,5-T in liquid saline medium and soil at high effectiveness.
