FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: three-hinge frame can be used in structures for industrial, civil, and agricultural purposes. In three-hinge frame, adjoining surfaces of sectional posts and span-pieces are made as curvilinear. Seated in curvilinear slots of post and span-piece are anchored reinforcing members which in assembly of unit are prestressed up to required calculated values due to changing angle of joining components and subsequent welding of embedded parts. Arrangement of reinforcing members corresponds to acting zone of maximal moment. Aforesaid embodiment of three-hinge frame improves reliability of cornice unit in framed structures.
