FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method involves fastening bearing rods and rigidly joining them with cross-beams in units of a frame-rod system using connecting pieces, creating pre-stress in the main reinforcement of the cross-beam, loading the frame-rod system with a given design static load equal to 0.95 of the cracking load. Applying the said load causes brittle failure of the welded connecting piece which is calibrated under a predetermined brittle failure force of the weld joint, which causes dynamic loading in pre-stressed elements of the structural system. As a result, the tensile force in these elements leads to formation of a "fixed" crack in the zone of the cut which reduces concrete section of the element, subsequent measurement of parameters of the created dynamic loading in stressed reinforcement of the rods.
EFFECT: more accurate determination of loading during tests.
