FIELD: protection of man against hitting with bullet, fragment or any other flying object. SUBSTANCE: proposed bullet-proof panel used in armor protection includes shell and ceramic plate put on laminated base. It additionally has interlayer made on base of shrinking cloth and binder or from hardened elastomer substance deformed elastically. Ceramic plate can be put into interlayer in state of omnidirectional compression having value of 6- 18% of breaking stress of ceramic in process of tension. EFFECT: increased resistance to bullets of armor jackets and other armor protection means and their prolonged service life. 1 dwg, 1 tbl
