SUBSTANCE: vertical screw conveyor has cylindrical housing, transportation screw arranged in housing and connected with drive, discharge branch pipe and charging chamber in form of cone-shaped funnel enclosing lower part of housing and open section of transportation screw over which belt spiral is fitted. Hands of helix of transportation screw and belt spiral do not coincide. Belt spiral, arranged coaxially with transportation screw, is cantilever mounted by lower end in hub coupled with drive and freely fitted on transportation screw shaft and in bottom of changing chamber. Screw and spiral are installed for rotation in opposite directions. EFFECT: increased filling-in of screw thread spaces and capacity of conveyor. 2 cl, 2 dwg
