FIELD: alcoholic beverage industry. SUBSTANCE: method comprises epurating raw materials under hydroselection conditions, taking light distillate fraction and epurate, subsequently purifying the resulting fractions by rectification. Separation is carried out in epurating- rectifying column. 30-70% alcohol of its total amount are withdrawn with distillate containing not more than 9.5 wt % water. Industrial alcohol is obtained from distillate in subsequent stages. From stillage of epurating-rectifying column containing not more than 8 wt % alcohol, epurate is withdrawn from which alcohol rectificate is isolated in rectifying columns. EFFECT: wider range of raw materials used for preparing industrial alcohol and alcohol rectificate by involving unconditioned aqueous alcoholic mixtures into process. 5 ex, 1 tbl
