FIELD: alcohol production. SUBSTANCE: method provides for epuration of raw material involving hydroselection technique including running off distillate fraction and epurate followed by rectification purification. Industrial-grade alcohol and rectified alcohol are isolated by successive two-step rectification of epurate. Simultaneously, one part of fusel oil is withdrawn in the form of first-step rectification column bottom product or in the form of first-step rectification column side-cut distillate and the rest of fusel oil is withdrawn the form of second-step rectification column bottom product.
