FIELD: combination cylinder mechanisms in locks of various designs. SUBSTANCE: mechanism consists of body and turning bushing kinematically connected with lock locking bolt which have row of coaxial radial holes filled with two sets of spring-loaded members. The first set ensures stopping of turning bushing with any inserted key whose code does not correspond to code of mechanism. The second set ensures stopping of turning bushing with key withdrawn. Radial holes made in body and in turning bushing, and filled with the first set of spring-loaded members are coaxial to conical holes made in lock in compliance with mechanism code. Sets of spring-loaded members consist of supporting members - balls, locking members - special pieces, and pushing members - balls. Supporting balls are in contact directly or through pushing balls with special pieces. Angle of inclination of cone in conical holes of key is selected so that in key insertion into combination mechanism and its withdrawal from here, rotation of supporting balls is ensured that sharply reduces friction coefficient and makes easy insertion and withdrawal of key.
