FIELD: medical engineering; prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: artificial foot has facing and insert made of polymeric materials, for example, capron and polyethylene. Buffers of different degree of stiffness depending on limb amputation level and invalid weight are used in front and rear buffer areas. At place of rolling insert is provided with hollow to reduce foot weight. Conveyer belt straps are secured to insert from bottom and potted with polyurethane foam mixture. Insert is manufactured of polymeric materials, for example, capron and polyethylene. Front and rear buffer areas are stiff. Front area is raised by 150-200 mm depending on foot size. Piece of conveyer belt is cast along insert base. Insert is installed into press-mold. Special appliance which forms beads is placed in press-mold on level of talocrural hinge and buffer areas.
