FIELD: medical engineering; prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: insert is manufactured of two polymeric materials (70 per cent of capron and 30 per cent of polyethylene) of low pressure and high density. It is reinforced by fabric, for example by chafer, bifilar fabric, etc. Steps are made at foot rolling place. They are made of capron, polyethylene and conveyer belt. The latter is placed on insert base for distribution of stress at foot rolling place. Weight of insert front section is reduced by formation of auxiliary cavity, edges of which are stiffened by capron, polyethylene and conveyer belt. When potting the foot with polyurethane foam insert in form is immersed lower to create beads, 15-20 mm high. EFFECT: manufacture of high-strength element for foot prosthesis. 1 dwg
