FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: process includes deposition of first layer of first metal as minimum on surface of high-temperature metal article, deposition of at least second layer of second metal. Second layer of second metal is deposited to depth sufficient to ensure molar ratio of first and second metals specified in advance. Then reaction treatment is conducted to provide for integration of first and second metals forming intermetal diffusion barrier layer. High-temperature metal article having total thickness of diffusion barrier layer or layers between 0.1-10.0 μ, preferably 0.8-3.0 μ is obtained. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 7 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
