UNDERGROUND STRUCTURE CONSTRUCTED IN FOUNDATION PIT AND METHOD OF CONCRETING Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: construction; applicable in construction by open method of underground structure of various purposes. SUBSTANCE: underground structure constructed in foundation pit includes construction of foundation plate and walls having space metal reinforced blocks which consist of steel sheet with ribs and space reinforcing cages. Metal members of temporary support of foundation pit are included in work of permanent structure of walls. Foundation plate is also reinforced with space metal reinforced blocks interconnected by welds with filling of space between steel sheet and foundation pit support and between steel sheet and concrete bottom of foundation pit with cast concrete mix. Method of concreting foundation plate includes concreting at the first stage of lower part of plate section height to form balance weight and at the second stage, concreting the remaining part, after concrete setting of lower part. Technical result of the invention consists in provision of possibility of reduction of foundation pit sizes up to sizes of erected structure, possibility of suspension of engineering services for period of construction without their removal from construction zone, reduction of labor input and terms of construction and reliable waterproofing of underground structure.
