SUBSTANCE: dehydrator has vacuum chamber, handling unit, heater, vacuum system, and charge-discharge mechanism for material under treatment; product handling unit is, essentially, rotor which is free to rotate with its blades arranged in rows along its axis; rotor blades and stator chutes are grouped and combined in sections which are assembled along rotor axis inside chamber to form operating zone of vacuum chamber whose upper part mounts charge mechanism and lower one, bin in the form of two truncated cones whose tops are facing each other; bin houses discharge mechanism impeller blade mounted on rotor drive shaft; blade shape follows that of inner surface of bin; rotor and impeller drive is mounted beyond vacuum space of chamber.
