FIELD: processing liquid viscous materials in food industry for dehydrating by-products (grains, low wine, and the like). SUBSTANCE: method involves heating by-product disposed on chute with aid of by-product proper arriving directly from beer column of beer- rectifying plant; drying process is conducted at similar wall temperatures of chamber and chutes. Device implementing this method has vacuum chamber with hollow walls whereto by-product or intermediate heat- carrying agent is delivered; device is provided with components controlling amount of heat-carrying agent (by-product).
