SUBSTANCE: safety device of lifting-and-tilting mechanisms of moving refuse collectors has hydraulic plant 3 of refuse collector 1 which fills hydraulic accumulator 12 under normal operating conditions. Liquid from hydraulic accumulator, when transmission of refuse collector 1 is shifted in for movement and lifting-and-tilting device 2 lowered, is directed through controlled hydraulic system to drive unit 6 of lifting-and-tilting device 2 to set in at height required for safe movement. Electronic control devices control operating condition of refuse collector 1 and lifting-and-tilting device 2 furnished with position pickups 10, 11.
