FIELD: material handling facilities. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for unloading of containers. Said lifting-and-tipping device designed for emptying of containers into charging hatch 14 of collector 12, particularly, for unloading of garbage from containers 50 into collector 12 of garbage removal truck 10, has turnable drive mechanism 32 in zone of charging hatch 14 of which at least one turnable bracket 38 with container gripper 16 is installed with power locking. Turnable drive mechanism 32 is secured on slides 60 moving at least along one vertical guide 16. Special means are provided for converting rotary motion of turnable drive mechanism 32 at simultaneous rotation of turnable bracket 38 into lifting motion of slides 60 which are made for locking on guide 16 at preset height of lifting. Device is made for continuation of turning motion of turnable drive mechanism 32 after locking to provide tipping over of container. EFFECT: simplified design, improved accuracy of unloading of garbage. 11 cl, 9 dwg
