FIELD: oil and gas producing industry; applicable in killing blowouts. SUBSTANCE: method is realized by selection of optimal parameters of killing with preset location of pipe string in well. In case of absence of pipe string in well, it is run into well to optimal depth at preset killing parameters. Wellhead is sealed for killing and killing fluid in the form of weighted mud is successively injected. Pressure at wellhead is maintained within regulated range. First, dynamic balance with bottomhole pressure at bottom of pipe string is established, then with formation pressure and static balance with formation pressure is attained after injection of drilling mud. Density of drilling mud is determined by formation pressure and it is always below the density of weighted mud. After attainment of static balance provided by columns of weighted and drilling muds in well, pipe string is lowered fully to roof of formation with oil or gas show. After full lowering of pipe string, killing process is completed by well washing with drilling mud and equalization of its density by circulation cycle. Method allows well killing with minimum expenditures of means and time and continuation of well construction. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl
