FIELD: organization of fuel combustion in furnaces of industrial and power boilers. SUBSTANCE: furnace 1 that has downward inclined direct- flow burners 5 mounted on front waterwall 2 made in the form of pulverized fuel mixture ducts 9, and undergrate-blast nozzles 6 installed in opposition under bottom bend of rear waterwall 3 is provided, in addition, with secondary-blast nozzles 7 mounted in upper part of burners 5. Fuel and air are mixed up in optimal proportion in upper portion of jet immediately upon its exit from burners 5 and in its lower portion after it turns on rear water wall 3 of furnace 1 and starts flowing together with water jet at bottom. Deep burnout of fuel combustion products is ensured at low amount of excess air. Burners 5 may be elongated through height and secondary-blast nozzles 7 may be mounted in center of upper part of pulverized-fuel mixture duct 9 which augments ignition of fuel- enriched jet. Fuel and mixture are uniformly shared which eliminates disturbances in heat transfer. EFFECT: improved economic efficiency of furnace. 4 cl, 4 dwg
