Through the controlled air-fuel burner nozzles 4 into the furnace 1 70-90% of the total air is supplied, and the remaining 35-40% of the air is distributed between the air nozzles 6, 7 and 8 of the secondary air and nozzles 9 of the tertiary air in the ratio from 1 to 3. When the boiler is operated at the load below 80% from the designed value, one or two adjustable burners 4 is turn off the fuel supply, at that the amount of secondary air supplied to the air nozzles 5 and 6 of the adjustable burners 4 and additional air nozzles 8 is kept in the same amount.

EFFECT: increase of the fuel combustion completeness and reduction of harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides formation.
