FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves placing hen embryo spinal cord ganglion into spinal fluid of a patient. Spinal cord ganglion sensor neuron processes growth factor is evaluated. Growth factor activity rising to 20%, the patient is to be included into epilepsy incidence risk group. Growth factor activity rising to a value greater than 20%, epilepsy is to be diagnosed. EFFECT: higher accuracy of diagnosis at early stage of disease.
