VACUUM-EXSICCATOR AND ITS DIVIDER Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: chemical industry; laboratory devices for slow cooling, drying and storing of materials absorbing moisture from air. SUBSTANCE: support of vacuum-exsiccator is made in form of hollow cup whose walls are thickened and thermal in dome shaped ceiling with through hole in upper part. Round through holes arranged on horizontal circumference in thick places of cup walls are designed for fixing objects to be checked. Divider can be installed in vacuum-exsiccator. Divider is made in form of plate with through holes over entire surface. Holes are flanged at one side and have the shape of truncated cone. Holder is arranged in central part of plate and bead is provided over end face along plate circumference in which holes are made for fastening divider in support of vacuum-exsiccator cover. Vacuum-exsiccator provides additional means for simultaneous treatment of articles at three levels. Use of divider provides more uniform and smooth flowing of air around treated articles.
