When processing oxidized nickel ore to produce iron- nickel alloy for directly alloying steel, process including preparation of agglomerate, charging it into blast furnace mixed with coke, blasting air, and tapping smelting products is distinguished by that basicity of prepared agglomerate (Cao+MgO)/SiO2 is 0.6-1.2 ratio Fe/Ni = 60-120, air blast rate is 1.5-2.5 furnace volumes per 1 min, whereas furnace pressure is maintained between 1.0 and 2.5 gauge atm.
