FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: wheel has hub, disk rim with tyre secured on disk. Electric generators are uniformly spaced between rim and tyre. Fixed part of generator is secured on rim. Winding is connected to wire assembly through contacts which are closed when winding is energized. Generator has also movable part with magnetic system with permanent magnets. magnets interact with tyre surface through pusher taking up elastic deformation of tyre. With wheel rolling and at tyre deformation magnetic system, through magnetic and electromagnetic fields, interacts with windings of fixed part inducing in the latter electric current supplied to electric car consumers, for instance, to stator or rotor winding of traction motor.
