FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: carbon compound is fired in furnace chamber maintained or surrounded by stowing material which is molded from mixture containing carbon and crushed grog particles. Carbon compound is burned at higher temperature gradient in stowing compounds, thus leading to greater degree of resin combustion and greater degree of energy utilization in degasified components. Besides, stowing material includes carbon-containing component and also crushed grog particles in the form of homogeneous mixture with carbon-containing component. Carbon-containing component includes granules such as granules from mass which comprises dust and binding agent in the form of resin or pitch.
