FIELD: electronic engineering. SUBSTANCE: generator using electronic frequency control depends for its operation on indirect control of pulse frequency by phase modulation. For phase modulation without limiting the band use is made of two identical variable-delay units connected to standard generator. Variable-delay units perform working functions in turn to provide for rising delay of reference pulses within one to two reference periods. As soon as delay has reached two reference periods, its working functions are transferred by means of flip-flop controlled demultiplexer and multiplexer to stand-by variable-delay unit pre-adjusted to one reference period. EFFECT: provision for continuous and time-unlimited variation of current delay of output pulses relative to reference ones; enlarged pulse frequency control range. 2 cl, 2 dwg
