FIELD: radio engineering. SUBSTANCE: digital phase inverter is intended for measurement, communication and control systems with frequency and phase modulation. It includes multiphase pulse generator 1 coupled through frequency divider 2 and shift register 3 to group of information inputs of first multiplexer 5. Multiplexer 5 and output first OR ELSE gate 7 carry out phase shift with phase step ΔΦ2. under control of the more significant positions of digital code of phase. Second multiplexer 9 and OR ELSE gate 10 inserted into inverter in addition carry out phase shift of clock pulses of shift register 3 and consequently of output signals with step ΔΦ1≪ ΔΦ2 in correspondence with content of the less significant positions of digital code of phase. Value ΔΦ1 is determined by phase quantization in multiphase pulse generator 1. EFFECT: raised accuracy of digital control over phase thanks to additional division of reference period into number of equal intervals with formation of phase reading subscale. 1 dwg
