CREAM AND CURD PRODUCING APPARATUS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: food-processing industry. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has cylindrical housing with drain crane. Upper part of apparatus is made removable and formed as cone to which cylinder is tightly attached. Cylinder has handles, detachable closure and two hollow cylindrical branch pipes positioned on cone and provided with valves. Weight of spherical float-type valves allows them to float freely in whole milk medium and to be submerged in cream medium. Flexible ring is positioned on cone base for sealing space between this part of apparatus and its housing during operation. Cylinder secured to cone has volume allowing whole milk to be forced out in amounts equal to 1/9-1/7 of volume of apparatus housing depending on fat content of whole milk. It is controlled by circular notches made on inner surface of cylinder. Housing is provided with detachable perforated bottom having three supports and adapted for producing curd. EFFECT: simplified construction, convenient operation and maintenance. 1 dwg
