FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: rotary shredder consists of welded bed with drive, of loading hopper and of unloading gate. A shredding mechanism in form of a stator and rotor is made inside the bed. The stator corresponds to a cartridge containing a side working surface; the stator is arranged with an open end downward. The rotor is positioned along axis of the cartridge and is made as a hollow shaft, an open end of which is coupled with the loading hopper, while its lower end contains a centrifugal feeder with radial guides. The radial guides of the centrifugal feeder are installed with a gap relative to the cartridge. The side working surface of the cartridge is equipped with holes or is made flat. The radial guides of the feeder are made as arc-shaped branches with channels of round or rectangular cross section and at the output they have a profile corresponding to the profile of the wall of the stator cartridge. Such design facilitates shredding various products. The hollow shaft of the rotor in a lower part is equipped with a plug inside containing a dividing lug along centre. A cavity of the rotor shaft has the shape of a truncated cone directed with a bigger base downward to the centrifugal feeder.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of shredder and expanded functionality.
