FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves recording thermogram of patient neck zone divided in three subzones in horizontal direction and each zone in three segments in vertical direction. Mean body temperature is measured in every segment. I degree stenosis is diagnosed when the temperature difference between the central segment and lateral one is greater than -0.2 C at least in one zone. II degree stenosis is diagnosed when the temperature difference between the central segments of the central zone and one of lateral ones is greater than -1.0 C and less than -1.5 C in addition to the previous case. The III degree stenosis is diagnosed when the temperature difference is greater than 1.5 C. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of diagnosis; noninvasive examination advantages. 2 cl, 6 dwg, 1 tbl
