FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: broth culture is prepared by sowing anthrax strain spores into the nutrient broth based on Hottinger broth with addition of 2.0-2.5 g/l of yeast extract and 0.30-0.33 g/l of calcium chloride. Incubation is carried out for 5-6 h at shaking at 37 C, pH is 7.2-7.4. Then mother bacteriophage is added to culture and bacteriophage is multiplicated at 37 C for 24 h and filtered.
