FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this method relates to erection of bases and foundations for structures and buildings in permafrost ground. According to method, bore-hole is drilled of diameter close to diameter of pile, then bore-hole is filled with ground extracted in process of drilling. After that, steam injecting needle is inserted into bore-hole and loose ground is subjected to treatment by steam. This operation is followed by lowering of metal pile into thawed mass of ground and pile is left there until freezing with surrounding mass of permafrost ground. Period of pile freezing in ground is calculated by numerical solution of first-order differential equation given in description of invention with inseparable variables relative to time T. Application of aforesaid method allows for reduction of erection period and increasing load-bearing capacity of piles due to reduced thermal treatment and shorter time of pile freezing in permafrost ground.
