PULSE SOURCE FOR TREATING WALLS OF FLUID-FILLED WELLS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: pulse source is used for increasing oil and gas recovery from wells and also for purposes of applied geophysics. Pulse source has cylinder with openings and with differential piston inside cylinder. Also provided is stopping bush which is rigidly connected with differential piston and is locked on balls located in slots of cover and resting on detent. Detent is connected through spring with adjusting screw. Hermetic chamber is connected with cylinder. Chamber itself is under atmospheric pressure. Pulse source is displaced inside well by means of rope. Application of aforesaid embodiment of source allows for increasing pulse power together with shorter period of treatment, thus less expenses are needed for repeated treatment of walls in fluid-filled wells.
