FIELD: measurement technology, high-accuracy determination of angular coordinate of object. SUBSTANCE: device has laser, mirror unit, linear photosensitive charge-coupled device, electric circuit for signal processing incorporating synchronizing generator, amplifier, comparator, generator, counters, flip- flops, registers, NOT-OR gates, AND gates, permanent storage, indication unit. Interference picture projected on to photosensitive region of linear photosensitive charge-coupled device is generated in plane of analysis causing emergence of video signal across output of linear photosensitive charge-coupled device. Video signal is converted into two binary numbers carrying information on position of object. Permanent storage converts obtained numbers to display angular coordinate of object by indication unit. Enhanced convenience of reading of results of measurement of angular translations of object with the use of interference protractor is achieved thanks to display of measurement results on indication unit in units of measurement of angular values.
