FIELD: space engineering; deceleration device and structural members used for descent in planet atmosphere. SUBSTANCE: according to invention, device includes foldable closed lifting surface made in form of pneumatic wing manufactured from flexible gastight material and provided with branch pipe for replenishment of its cavity with gas. Provision is also made for members for securing the descent vehicle which includes flexible load-bearing linkage connected at point located over perimeter of pneumatic wing. Length of linkage may be changed by the commands from control system. Pneumatic with cavity is formed by upper and lower diaphragms interconnected over perimeter of external edge and row of inner profiled partitions. Inflatable elongated members is arranged between descent vehicle and pneumatic wing. In the course of aerodynamic control during descent, this member gives mobility to descent vehicle relative to pneumatic wing; to this end, local contraction of this member is formed by means of partition or clip. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of descent due to reduction of mechanical and thermal loads. 2 dwg
