FIELD: space.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means and methods for the removal of space objects (SO) from satellite orbits into the Earth's atmosphere. The spacecraft (SC) for removing the SO contains in the bow a cargo container (1) with a gripper (4), connected to the service systems compartment (2), and the aft compartment (3) with heat-resistant (6) and additional (5) inflatable shells. Pressurization of the additional shell (5) and aerodynamic braking of the spacecraft begin after the capture of the spacecraft by the device (4). The shell (5) is dropped and the shell (6) is pressurized at times determined on the basis of the predicted time and coordinates of the spacecraft entry into the atmosphere at its conditional boundary (when the shell (6) is separated). Both shells are alternately moved by platforms (7) and (8) to the edge of the compartment (3) to open them to a spherical shape when pressurized.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency and simplifying the SC design for removing the SO from orbit while ensuring its guaranteed destruction in a dense atmosphere.
