FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: reticular reinforcing strip is intended for strengthening joints of horizontal masonry. Strip has row of stratifying sections of steel wire passing in longitudinal direction and structure which is made up of one or more connecting sections of wire which are welded by means of resistance spot welding to side edges of stratifying sections of wire and have round lateral cross-section of diameter not exceeding thickness of stratifying sections of wire. Stratifying sections of wire are subjected to rolling prior to welding operation so that welded joints are of non-flattened structure. Side edges of stratifying sections of wire on which welding is performed can be made flat after subjecting to welding with upsetting of side edges. Application of aforesaid embodiment of reinforcing strip allows for reducing thickness of masonry joints. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 15 cl, 4 dwg
