FIELD: pipeline shutting-off. SUBSTANCE: method includes stopping of product pumping, reduction of pressure in pipeline, separation of defective section 2 by means of ice locks 4, pumping of product out of separated section 2, and removal of defective section 2. Hole is cut in upper part of pipeline 1 in shut-off section. Temporary shutting-off devices are introduced through this hole. They are positioned from both sides of defective section in close vicinity of ice locks 4. Pumping of product out of shut-off section and removal of the latter are performed in step. Method allows elimination of product and gas leaks into surrounding medium. EFFECT: higher reliability. 3 cl, 2 dwg
